Free Consultation
15 minutes
A brief phone consultation is available for prospective patients who would like to learn more about the practice before scheduling an evaluation.
During this call, we’ll discuss what brings you to treatment, what you’re looking for, and whether my practice is likely to be a good fit. If not, I’ll do my best to help you identify other resources or clinicians who may better meet your needs.
I offer psychiatric evaluation, psychotherapy, medication management, and combined treatment for adults. Below you’ll find more information about visit types, fees, and what to expect.
Services and Fees
Initial Psychiatric Evaluation
70 minutes: $450
The initial evaluation is a comprehensive visit focused on understanding your current concerns, history, previous treatment experiences, and goals for care.
I’ll also ask about factors that may be affecting your mental health, such as sleep, physical health, relationships, life experiences, and current stressors.
Together, we’ll develop an initial treatment plan based on your needs. Treatment may include psychotherapy, medication, attention to sleep and health habits, collaboration with other healthcare providers, lab work, or referrals to other specialists.
At the end of the evaluation, we’ll also discuss whether ongoing treatment together feels like the right fit.
Psychotherapy & Medication Management
50 minutes: $350
These longer follow-up visits provide time for psychotherapy, medication management, or a combination of both.
My approach is collaborative, individualized, and grounded in evidence-based care. Depending on your needs, I may draw from psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, supportive psychotherapy, trauma-informed care, and skills-based approaches.
Visit frequency is individualized and may range from weekly to monthly depending on your goals and treatment needs.
Focused Medication Management
25 minutes: $250
These visits focus primarily on medication management while also incorporating supportive psychotherapy and discussion of current stressors and functioning.
We’ll review your symptoms, medication response, side effects, and treatment goals, making adjustments together as needed.
For patients seeking more in-depth psychotherapy, 50-minute sessions are generally a better fit.
Out-of-Network Insurance
I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. Payment is due at the time of service.
Some insurance plans reimburse a portion of out-of-network mental health care. I can provide a superbill, or itemized receipt, that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
If you plan to use out-of-network benefits, please contact your insurance company directly to ask about your deductible, reimbursement rates, and telehealth coverage. Reimbursement is determined by your insurance plan and is not guaranteed.
When checking benefits, you may ask about reimbursement for psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and psychotherapy visits using the following codes:
70-minute initial evaluation: 99203, 99204, or 99205, depending on the complexity of the evaluation, with 90833 or 90836 when psychotherapy is also provided.
50-minute follow-up: 99213 or 99214, depending on complexity, with 90833 or 90836 when psychotherapy is included. When the visit consists solely of psychotherapy, 90834 or 90837 may be billed instead.
25-minute follow-up: 99213 or 99214, depending on complexity, with 90833 when psychotherapy is also provided.
