I am a board-certified adult psychiatrist providing psychotherapy and medication management for adults throughout Massachusetts.

I earned my medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and completed my psychiatry residency at Cambridge Health Alliance, a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital known for its strong tradition of psychotherapy. My approach is collaborative, individualized, and grounded in evidence-based care.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, staying active, and spending time on creative hobbies. I value curiosity and lifelong learning and strive to bring that same spirit to my clinical work.

About Dr. Whittney Wiley

Treatment Philosophy

I believe that effective mental health care begins with understanding the whole person. Mental health is influenced by biology, relationships, life experiences, physical health, identity, work, and community. My approach is grounded in a biopsychosocial framework that considers each of these dimensions when developing an individualized treatment plan.

Treatment may include psychotherapy, medication, or an integrated combination of both, depending on your goals and preferences.

Psychotherapy is a central part of my practice. I believe that having space to better understand yourself, build coping skills, and explore relationship patterns can support meaningful and lasting change. My approach draws from psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, supportive psychotherapy, trauma-informed care, and skills-based approaches.

My goal is not only to reduce symptoms, but also to help you build a life that feels healthier, more meaningful, and more connected to your values.

I intentionally structure my practice to allow time for thoughtful, individualized care.
